On April 25, 2022, Plaintiffs filed a Verified Complaint, individually and derivatively, on behalf of Zippy Cash LLC in the District Court for Clark County, Nevada against Defendants Tough Money LLC, Duane Tough, Brent Ruttman, Lio LLC, Robert L. Stewart, John F. Stewart, Gene Williams, Sales Consultants Int’l, Inc., Zippy Cash LLC, and Z Cash LLC. Plaintiffs alleged various claims against Defendants relating to their operation and/or involvement in Zippy Cash LLC (“Zippy Cash”) and Z Cash LLC. (A copy of the Verified Complaint is available in the Documents section of this webpage.) Plaintiffs later filed a motion to appoint a receiver over the companies.
On July 27, 2022, the Court entered an Order Granting Plaintiffs’ Motion for Appointment of Receiver (the “Order”), appointing Thomas W. McNamara of Regulatory Resolutions as receiver of Zippy Cash and Z Cash LLC to take possession and control of the companies. Pursuant to his authority under the Order, the Receiver additionally has declared, without objection, Z Cash, Inc. and Zippy.Cash, Inc. to be Receivership Entities.
